How do I enter?

Create and record your own Christmas jingle incorporating ‘Pringles’ somewhere in the lyrics. Then upload the jingle and enter your details online at www.pringles.co.uk/jingles  No purchase is necessary.

 

Do I have to enter with other members of my family or can I enter with my friends?

You can enter with your family, friends or on your own – the choice is yours!

 

What can I win?

Each week, until 4^th January 2009, one entry will win a great cash prize, * £2000 for UK residents/ €2500 for ROI residents.  All winners selected prior to 7^th December will be entered into the final round for an incredible money-can’t-buy prize; the chance to have your jingle turned into a 30 second Pringles advert that will air on primetime TV on Christmas Day.

 

Do I have to create an entire advert, or just the soundtrack?

You have to create a 30 second video jingle that can be transformed into an advert by the Pringles advertising agency.  This advert will be aired on Christmas Day.

 

What are the judges looking for in the winning jingles?

The judging panel will be looking for jingles which have a link to the theme, Jingles for Pringles, are fun and individual. They will also take into consideration how many votes individual videos have received.

 

How will the competition be judged?

The competition winners will be decided on by a judging panel appointed by the Pringles team. All entries submitted by 11:59pm on 7^th of December 2008 will be entered to with the overall TV ad prize. On top of this every week from now until 4^th of January 2009 the judges will be selecting one lucky winner to win £2,000/€2,500.

 

When is the closing date of the competition?

The closing date for everyone who wants to be in with a chance of making it on to national TV is 7^th December 2008.   Jingles submitted after the 7^th December 2008 can still win one of the weekly prizes of £2000/€2500. The weekly competition will run until 4^th January 2009.

 

Are there any age restrictions?

You must be over 16 or over to enter.

 

Who can enter?

The competition is open to all residents in the UK and ROI, excluding employees of Procter & Gamble UK and its affiliates or agents, the families of such employees and any other person connected with this promotion.

 

When will I find out if my jingle has won?

The lucky overall winner whose jingle video will be turned into a TV advert will be notified no later than December 10^th 2008 the winner must be available during that week to re-shoot the video if necessary. All the people lucky enough to bag one of the £2,000/€2500 weekly prizes will be notified within 14 days of winning.
